For sale a really lovely pair of Audio Technica ATH-A900X headphones.

They are an over-ear, closed back design, very easy to drive with 42ohms impedance.

First thing you notice is how substantial they are; everything feels well made as you would expect from AT. The fit is very comfortable indeed with the excellent self-adjusting wing support mechanism and the drivers are well padded.

Sound wise they are very open, dynamic and a good level of low bass from the large-aperture 53 mm drivers; they are revealing of source material as good phones should be.

In clean condition with just some wear to the outside of the ear pads - this is purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect play in any way, but I am including a brand new and unopened pair of recommended thick velour velvet ear pads which I imported from Japan.

New price of these phones is typically £240-280 but you'll have to import them and pay customs duty etc

These headphones are now up for sale again.

There is a very light crease to one of the cases - you won't see it in certain light, but you can feel it if you run your finger over it and see it in the pic below. This is entirely cosmetic and doesn't affect the performance of the headphones. Because of this I will make a further reduction and offer these at £95 including delivery!

Am quite interested but if you would be so good to give your opinion on the headband fit as in there are many reviews mentioning that are more suitable for larger heads and I'm not a big head, tho there are some who might dispute that !

Hi - it's quite difficult to say as I've got a fairly big head I guess and they fit very well.
But I can't say for certain that they wouldn't work for you - you'd need to try a pair to be sure!
