Wanted Passive Pre Amp

Hi

Wanted a Passive Pre amp to try with my Linn Power amp or Quad a Tisbury or something along those lines or recommendations for best match..

Really not sure on pricing but £50 currently to spend...

Check the input impedance of the Linn power amp.. Older ones won't work with a passive without massive high frequency rolloff I gather and it can be marginal even with a low output impedance active preamp driving them!

Thanks for the input what should it be on the Linn just so i can check no big deal if cannot be used it will be used with Quads instead...
