Nice little thing this, it makes a very good headphone amp, especially with higher impedance cans like 600/650s, being an OTL design, but I also liked it a lot with my hard to drive Fostex TP20RP low impedance planars. It also makes a lovely pre amp, crystal clear sound, even more so than any passive I've heard.

I'm asking £125 collected as I've seen these go for £150 plus. I'd prefer collection as I don't have the original box but I would post at buyer's risk and cost if I can have a few days to find a suitable box (I have a good inner box but would definitely double pack this). I'll exclude a power lead in this case to minimise the risk of damage.

I can also throw in a nice rare set of 4 Russian NOS gold pin valves for £20 if the buyer wants to try some rolling. Please note the photos show these rather than the stock valves included in the base price, I tested them for an hour so they're not burned in yet.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181113/388360302da9214c8cf195573851f288.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181113/e92c9b8b8fc43aa3b9fddd7c4106b7bc.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181113/0cc7dc3b7aaadaa96e67b7f58b187cdd.jpg

If those are the fluted Russian EF95 input tubes and Electroharmonix 6H30 pi the buyer would be a fool not to buy them for that.
That is the best tube complement for that amp. Even the Mullard M8100 can not come close to those tubes.
I know I have that amp and have rolled hundreds of tubes through it.
All the white boxes are M8100's .
I rolled just about every tube I could get my hands on for this amp, I preferred 4 tubes Visod 6H1n -EB fluted glass only! Rocket ,G.E. Jan 5 star Mil Spec., Mullard M8100, RCA 5654 Black plate.
I was able to re sell the tubes I did not like to buy more of what I did like and these are them.
The Electro hamonix is just slightly warmer than the Sovtek in the 6H30 tubes but both are so close to sounding the same,It is really hard to say enough to make a difference. (both pair are hand matched and Cryo treated.

Thanks for your comments, there's loads of fun to be had rolling with these amps. Just bear in mind there are jumpers you access from underneath (a bit fiddly) for some families of input valves. As I said the valves shown are Russian gold pins that I would include for an extra £25. I will get more details of the stock valves and these ones, and pics, up later.

Thanks guys, I wasn´t aware of this, it said you would receive an e-mail with my message but I´m just gonna re-write my message here:

Hey Lawrence,

I´ve found your offer over a search engine and am interested in your Little Dot MK III. I was wondering which tubes you can include? And has this the 220V plug? Looks like it in the pictures but I can´t tell for sure.

Also I´m living in Hamburg so you would have to send it to Germany. Is that possible? Of course I would be covering all the extra shipping expenses.

I would be soo happy if we could get a deal I´ve been looking for this amp for 1 1/2 months and never found the right one. Either they had the US plug or were just to pricey. Plus this one seems to be in such a nice condition and there are already some tubes included! If you would like to know more about me - I just made my post in the welcome forum.

And goraman: How many tubes are this? Looks like you put your time into finding your desired sound.

Best regards,

Timo

I'm adding photos of the stock valves included with the amp in it, and the extra ones (for £25 extra) out of the amp.

The stock valves are USA 6AK5 I.think it says (not clear) and 6H6pi. The extra valves are matched 6H6pi gold pin and 6H1N-EB also gold pin (with the ribs).

Price wise, if I get a good deal on something I like to pass it on over the forum. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181116/1b4e80be45b3f7aae511cf44163a2f27.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181116/f33f34395d5e3ecfac0a0b73aa452690.jpg

Those imput tubes are fantastic , best of the bunch .
The stock tubes look like G.E. gray plate 6AK5 .
If you remove the bottom plate and if my memory is correct .If it is a later version V2 will be printed on the board , then you can change the 6H6pi to 6H30pi and that takes this amp to the next level.

How menny tubes do I have for this amp, a lot , enough to out last the amp as at some point my son will get all my audio gear so when I buy tubes I like, I try to buy more for him.
Even todays new made tubes will become tomorrows vintage tubes when I am gone but my son Conner will have a good collection that should keep him going for years.

Vacuum tubes are a simple wonder , an Electronic circuit with a window. They really should be valued as they are amazing devices.

This will help you on your way. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/little-dot-tube-amps-vacuum-tube-rolling-guide.563884/
I have collected a lot of tubes, 2 large caddys and a cardboard box of locktal radio tubes for my 1947 Admiral radio.
Most are 12AT7,12AX7 ,6414 and EL84's for the Sting Ray and DAC. for the headphone amp I collected EF95's a lot of them and 6H6pi alot of them too. Now I am Buying 6H30 I like the EH 6H30 best so at some point I will get 10 more of these as they last a long time I am told .

I am sure my tube collection is small compared to others here on AOS.
I met a guy who's tube collection was a 2 car garage chuck full of boxes and boxes of tubes all NOS!

Just realised how much I paid for the upgraded valves so I made a small adjustment to the price. Here's the small ones on ebay:
