Hello,
I recently found this forum, looked around and thought I could learn something and possibly help others.
I like most types of music, but prefer female singers with light backup or playing guitar (Joni Mitchell, Melody Gardot, Kate Wolf, etc.)
Also listening to quite a bit of John Mayall and Paul Buttelfield lately
System consists of:
Amplifier: Luxman MB-3045 modified for 6550 tubes
Preamplifier: Luxman CL-35 with RCA NOS tubes from Vintage Tube Services
Speakers: ProAc Response D-40r with Nordost SortFut
CD Player/DAC: Linn Genki - Gets the job done. I don't listen to a lot of CDs
Turntable/ Garrard 301 with Ortofon 309D tonearm, Woodsong plinth Nordost Valhalla 2 tonearm cable and
Cartridges: EMT S75 Cartridge
Phono Stage: Vendetta Research
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Nordost Valhalla 2 speaker and interconnect cables
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Nordost QBase 8 and Valhalla 2 power cables
Tweaks: Walnut Rack from Timbernation, Vibraplane and Stillpoints for Garrard 301 TT
Nordost Sortkone TC under amp, preamp and phono preamp
Room Size (LxWxH): 17 x 11 x 10
