If you are looking for something new to listen to, I would strongly recommend checking out The Mahogany Sessions.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKK4T0Fm7nwGsbotPFrDFxJ7HgkxBEz_R

These are quality recordings of some established but mostly emerging local artists captured in an intimate environment.

There’s something here for everyone who likes quality music (of most genres).

I’m posting this as I get a bit tired of reading about how “there’s no good new music anymore” [emoji13]

A lot of these artists are struggling to survive in an environment in which making music as a profession is like trying to push water uphill.*

*my son currently plays bass for at least three of the artists in these sessions.

I think that's pretty much just me so sorry about that. I've moved this thread to the Music section

Good link. I just don't understand those who say that modern music is rubbish. There is plenty of great new stuff out there and if you search it out or go to a few local gigs you will find it.

I think the issue for many who share this negative view is that there is relatively little new music in the style that they "imprinted" on in their youth. Frankly, I don't want to listen to 21st century prog rock or heavy metal.

Thanks for the link. Splendid stuff.

I really like the NPR Music Tiny Desk Concerts on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1B627337ED6F55F0).

These links are great. I can cast the audio from my tablet to my Raspberry Pi running Volumio. The SQ isn’t actually that bad either!

Yes! Especially Love the Anderson Paak session and also Gabriel Garzon-Montano on those. [emoji106][emoji4]

Live on KEXP sessions are another good source of quality stuff too.

That’s what I’ve been doing for most of this afternoon. [emoji4]
