View Full Version : Wanted : Small bookshelf speakers
Hi all, Im looking for a small bookshelf speaker pair to go in a new smaller listening room/office. I have just bought the TEAC Reference 300 amplifier from Vince, which is a surprising little powerhouse, and am looking for some suitable speakers to go with it. If you have some lying around and unused and would like to part with them please let me know. Thanks.

Dali Zensor 1 in black but missing front grilles? £100 inc postage?
Thanks for the very prompt reply...I don't know those and shall look online now to check out the size as it is a small room....the price sounds fine posted tho.
Still looking....anything different or unusual would appeal!
dynaudio emt20 are exceptional speakers, ive had the pleasure of hearing them a few times and im seriously tempted by them, the bass they produce for their size is huge, they also have a lovely top end.
Thanks Jamie, I will check those out. Getting a small speaker that does the job sound wise and fits on my desk and allow me room to work is proving tough!

Personally I’d sell the Teac and get a pair of Focal CMS40, u won’t regret it!

I've recently bought a pair of Genexxa speakers with the Linaeum (sp.?) tweeters. If you don't need bass they're nice with the ports stuffed. Watch out for surround rot though.

Hi Jerry
Jamie heard the Dynaudio at his house then my house, they really are very good but I would Suggest You look at the Smaller brother for your needs
the Emit M10 and a hundred quid cheaper.
Steve
Hi Steve, Thank you for the info. I will check them out as the smaller the better. Jerry

Hi Jerry, I have a pair of JBL Control One (silver) doing nothing. You can have them for £20 delivered, being as you're only 10 miles away! You can even "borrow" them until you get sorted, if these don't suit.
Hi Steve, That is very kind of you thank you. I am now sorted with a solution and have some MS 902i speakers on the way....they should be ideal
