I mostly listen to a lot of late 60's and 70's rock, R&B and the blues. I bought my first high end system
well in the military in 1975 and have been in love with the equipment and the amazing sound ever since.
I have owned many many different setups over the past 43yrs. At this time my system is all vinyl all tube
analog.

Fully moded Technics SL1210 M5G, Jelco SA 750 DB, Goldring 2500
EAR 834P phono stage with 3 nos Mullard 12AX7's
JJ Electronics 828 integrated 80wpc. tube amp.
Rega RX5 speakers.

I don't have any changes in mind right now I have just spent the last year going from a vintage 70's setup to what I have now.
For the past month I have been very focused on optimizing turntable performance so I have made a significant investment
in the worlds most accurate cartridge alignment tool Acoustical Systems SMARTacker with uni din geometry that is more accurate then the two last Feickert protractors I owned And for very fine tuning and optimization I bought newly released AnalogMagik software and test lps.
I thought my fine tuning by ear was very good but the software was better and finally gave me the ability to set VTA and SRA
very accurately and repeatable it was a bit costly for setup tools but it did make a noticeable improvement so I'm very happy with these tools.

Hi Kevin, welcome to the forum.

That's some big system makeover that you've done. Have to say I think the vintage system looked fantastic but I'm probably being nostalgic.
