Hi everyone.
I am Sien from Malaysia. My interest in music started in the 70’s. Analogue was the only music playback format those days. Played with cassette tapes and vinyl during those early years. Then CD came into the picture in the 80’s. After my cheap Sony turntable gave up in the early 80’s I went digital, but I stored away my vinyl collection thinking that some day in the future I may just listen to them again.
Well, 4 years ago I had a look at my stored vinyl collection and decided to have another go at the vinyl format after noticing the gaining popularity of vinyl. All I knew from my past experience about vinyl was just “plug and play”. VTA, VTF, offset angle, compliance were words alien to me. Bought myself a cheap Lenco from eBay and from then on it was a steep learning curve. I searched the Internet for information. One thing lead to another and I ended up rebuilding the Lenco with my own parts.
And I am still learning.....
Thanks for accepting me into this forum.
