Hi Guys

My dad brought these JVC speakers on Monday but for the life of us we cannot find anything on them they are weird size with i'm guessing they were part of a Nivico system they have built in speaker cables so must have been a part of something they were £50 assumed worth it for the rarity - 2 way drivers 1 inch tweeter and 8 mid bass covers are screwed from the bottom - Lightweight cabs really do sound rather good and look fantastic i only have 1 picture at the moment..

Looking for advice only number on the back is 150 and a search revealed nothing

look nice Dan. Ive seen that style before too, but no idea where. My well have been part of an all in one jvc system at one time..
if Mr Stewart was still with us, he may have known...Geoff might too.

The speakers look interesting, not so sure about the carpet .... :hmm: :D

Phew, that's a relief.
I thought I was the only one around here with dodgy taste in carpets.

Don't look like anything I've ever seen before. I'd guess mid to late 1970s?

They appear to be the front speakers from the JVC QSL-F777E Quadraphonic console setup. Should be pretty good, I'd have thought.

Oh my god Adam you absolute gent do you have any idea of what year it dates from i would love to see if it features in the HI-FI yearbook...

Don't know, Dan. I'll have a rummage through my hi-fi yearbook collection at the weekend and see if it turns up.
