Been wanting to dip my toes in and try a valve phono stage without spending too much money, this one is about £140 on Amazon and looks pretty well identical to one with a Yaqin label which is around £200, be interested to get comments from any users on the forum, from what I’ve read online they improve nicely with a bit of tube rolling.

I'm always dubious about those cheap Chinese Phono stages for safety reasons.

But I know a few on here have tried the Nobsound etc and I haven't heard of any problems.

There is a great Firebottle for sale here... top stage, although a bit dearer, it was cheap when new at over £500. Had one myself.

I've got a Yaqin I really like it just needs some better valves in it to sound great.

Love one but a bit out of my price league, also it’s for my 2nd tier setup so I don’t want to pay too much.

Yes I'm pretty sure it is, it's not here at the moment.
