Hi everyone
I have been reading posts here for a long time (lurking I think It's called), but had never introduced myself, so here I am.
I have been a HiFi nut for many years, and have owned loads of equipment, Linn, Naim, Avondale,Infinity, Arcam, TDL etc.
At the moment my system comprises Macbook pro, Airport express, Beresford Caiman, Nait3, Infinity reference 60.
Greetings to all and apologies for the delay in introducing myself.
Regards

Hi and thanks for the replies, I am in Dundee and I would say nowadays my taste in music is mainly jazz, but I also listen to some rock, folk, reggae, anything which takes my fancy really, I'm also learning (slowly) to play bass, so I try to keep as open a mind as possible.

So you're into your computer audio then.Just dragged myself into this with a Squeezebox touch.Nice bit of kit.I seem to get better resolution, and that occasional glare you get with cd seems to have gone, and I can now listen to some albums I couldn't before.Me like!

Hi
I also have an Arcam alpha 0, which covers CD replay (used as a transport into Caiman), but I must admit it gets little or no use since I went to streaming.
The convenience of streaming files from hard drive or Spotify premium is very appealing and the sound quality is excellent as well.

Yes agreed,it's better than my Arcam and even a Marantz cd94 used as a transport.
