Hi Geoff , home cinema is in a room 35feet x 15feet . I’ve got rid of the screen and have painted one wall with Black Widow paint mix which I think works exceptionally well, and as a bonus has a high wife acceptance factor.

I’ve actually only just bought (eBay ) , all good but think it probably needs a good service. I wonder if anyone has any recommendations where to send it.

I’ve had quite a few Akai’s over the years and always regretted selling my last 625. There is something gently soothing about sitting in the dark with reels spinning and VU meters dancing, never tire of it.

Nice Marantz gear looks like silver versions of the Pearl stuff they made a few years ago (not the Pearl Lite). And congrats on having probably the coolest town name in Britain (and if I'm not wrong, the only one with an exclamation mark!)

Hi Steve - I'm in the early stages of setting up a dual use 'library/home cinema room' and would be very interested in popping over some time to get a feel of what’s possible, if that would be OK?
