Nice original GL75. Plinth is very old fashioned but the TT looks good, bet it doesn't need any more than a clean & lube.

Correction. If they've never been done, the arm is bound to need bearing 'V' blocks. Easy and cheap to sort.

Great turntables these.

Oh flipping eck ! I really don’t like messing with tt’s as it’s unfamiliar territory.

Fear not. It's a simple job. You may be lucky and find it doesn't need doing. The arm should move up and down across its full range of vertical movement freely, if there's stiction and the arm seems to want to stay level, then the knife edge 'V' blocks are gonners.

If it does need V-blocks, let me know as I drew them up on CAD and 3D printed some at work, but no Lencos have crossed my path since then, so I haven’t been able to try them!

I’d be happy to send you a couple to see if they’re any good - the same goes for anyone else reading this, as I think I did 2 sets.
