Technics SL-1210 and other bits [Archive]

I am selling (somewhat reluctantly) the following items:

1. Technics SL-1210 fitted with Audio Origami re-wired Technics arm. About 3 years old, with rubber mat, slip mat, and all packaging, manuals, accessories. This deck was previously fitted with different arms, so the arm base opening in the rubber underneath has been enlarged. It was also previously fitted with an external PSU, but now reverted to standard state. I am asking £250, which is fair considering the AO arm fettling, worth £100 on its own.

2. Mike New Bearing for the SL-1210. A stunning bit of engineering that really does lift the performance of the Technics. See the details at http://www.soundhifi.com/sl1200/index.htm . Cost £425 new – this one could be yours for £350.

3. One set of Isonoe isolation feet, virtually new and unused £70.

Why am I selling? See this thread http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6007 . I would love to keep all my record players, but in a small house I have to be practical and regrettably one has to go.

The Mike New bearing and Isonoe feet are now sold. The SL-1210 is still available, although there is one expression of interest.

If you get an offer on the deck, take it buddy, my mate had a monster hangover this morning and hasn't showed ... I think he is pretty keen on get the one working from the bits too!

So, the Mike New bearing and the Isonoe feet are gone, but my SL-1210 is still for sale.

Its tonearm has been rewired by Audio Origami, but otherwise it's now completely standard. Offers in the region of £250 will be entertained!
