Afternoon all,
I don't usually post in this section so please be gentle with me :D:D:D
My JBL L50s are currently in for an inspection with my local engineer. They are a recent purchase and I think probably a speaker I will be happy to keep for the foreseeable future. I'm aware they are probably 35 ish years old and so I've asked for the cross overs / caps to be checked and replaced.
I've read lots of posts over the years of people "upgrading" their cross overs and was wondering if I was to replace the caps are there any particular brands I should consider. Are some recognised as better than others?
I like the sound of the JBLS so wouldn't want to do much to change their sound but am happy to take advise from those with more idea then me :D:D
