Oh yes. Lovely album, that. Although the version of Dargai I've played owes more to Richard than Danny.

And you do remember correctly....

However, I posted the cartridge pics on a photography website I was a member of (which is now sadly defunct) and one of the members actually told me the record that's playing in cartridge picture 3. Now that was scary!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I might post some deadwax messages and see if you get the records they're from.

I am getting old so the memory is a bit vague...but is that a Manticore Mantra ? If so I nearly bought one of those as a replacement for an Ariston Q deck many, many, years ago. I actually ended up with a Voyd Valdi.... I miss that turntable:(

Absolutely correct. It's one of the first 250 ever made (which is why it has the unusual red on/off switch, which I think became green shortly afterwards.) It's still a fine piece of kit and working well after all these years. It replaced my erstwhile Dual CS505, which I think almost everyone started with back in those days.

:lolsign:

Would that be in the late 1960s?

By the time i got to high school, we weren't allowed to study groovy things like that.
