i recently asked for advice on interconnects on here and took the advice and went for the chord clearway which made the sound more open and tighter base,i now would like advice on speaker wire,and would it be worth getting a mains conditioner

My advice would be to tell us your budget before anything else.

I don't know much about cables at that price bracket, but they are one of the things that don't age, in fact they often improve a bit as they burn in. So with peoples recommendations I would buy 2nd hand from someone who is upgrading.

Mains conditioners? if its a filter syster, then they can have the opposite effect, but you have to have dirty mains, then a regenerator will help, otherwise they wont do too much, although they will give you a steady voltage and 50hz, which can be useful. wouldnt sell mine.
as for speaker cable, ive found it can make a bigger difference than interconnects. without knowing what equ you have and cable you use its going to be hard to

If you like your Chord interconnects why not try Chord speaker cable. You don’t state whether you single wire or bi wire. If you bi wire I’d suggest Audioquest Flx Slip 14/4 cable, I use it on both my setups and find it excellent and it won’t break the bank at about £8/m, if you single wire then the 14/2 variant.
