NAD 1020 is a preamplifier, but not a passive and has no XLR inputs or outputs. Don't know about the 1030.

Maybe ask Wes at Tisbury Audio if he can make up one of his passives with XLR instead of RCA? Or if XLR is not vital just go with his standard RCA version.
