My friend's teenage son has the bug and is looking for a pair of speakers to add to his set up. He currently has what looks like a Project Genie 2 and a NAD 314 amplifier. His budget is up to £150. He is in Exmouth, Devon. Music wise he listens to a lot of indie/post punk stuff, The Smiths/The Fall etc. What do you have folks?

I have a pair of Systemdek Systym 165 floorstanders for sale.

I bought these off ebay a while back and the couriers did a nice number on them, busting one of the tweeters and bashing a top corner, because the packing was inadequate. The seller went very deaf on me and I lost a lot of money. Ah well.

The good(?) news is I have replaced both the tweeters with some nice ribbon tweeters which happily sound better than the originals.

Yours for the princely sum of £35 collected from east cornwall.

If you're heading my way soon, the Celestions I've got listed are cheap but very good. They're certainly at a similar level to the Nad amp. If you want you could take them in return for doing me a favour :)

If you're heading my way soon, the Celestions I've got listed are cheap but very good. They're certainly at a similar level to the Nad amp. If you want you could take them in return for doing me a favour :)

I have a pair of Monitor Audio R852MDs mk1 in overall very good condition cosmetically, but with 2 very minor cosmetic issues.

Sonically they sound as they should excellent/A1, transparent, detailed and with a punchy bass.

These were Monitor Audios flagships and would be a seriously good start for anyone with the bug.

If you're interested I'll post some pictures.
