When ? I had not heard that.

Amazingly I love his Waltz album...wacky and a wee bit like the sort of stuff Grace Jones was doing. I didn't like the Sex Pistols...still don't but some of the PIL albums I could live with.

Sad news indeed.....

I only have Waltz Darling too. some good tunes on there.

He died this morning, not in the UK. He was 64 it said on the news.

I have some 80mm (yes 80mm not 120mm) CD's of his. Simply brilliant.

He was WAY more than just the Sex Pistols.

Rest in peace mate.

Dave

Haven't any CD's (or mini CD's) of his, but I do have a couple of 12" singles he did (Buffalo Gals and another based on a refrain from Madame Butterfly)..

They're dropping like flies right now....

That's a bumber,I have 2 of his albums Duck rock, one of him looking like a wired naked angel, The Sex Pistols album and PIL second edition LP and CD plus a couple more PIL albums I don't know the names of.
Glad we still have Jhon Lydin.
What did he die of an over dose of odd?

Looks like it was a rare cancer... Not exactly rock and roll, but definitely a swindle... RIP, Malcolm.
