I wouldn't go ahead with it as I would probably ruin the deal by making some kind of faux pas.
I haven't got my head around this idea of fluid-gender and wouldn't know when to refer her as Ms Ann Lauwers or when to refer to him as Mr L Jun.
Could ruin scupper the whole deal...

I get 20 - 30 similar every day. Often I have Ban Ke Moon with a spare $64,000,00 he wants to put my way or Princess Zenab Warlord 1 (2,3,4,5, etc.) with an offer I can't refuse.
Does anyone ever click on these ?

YUP we all get em, the worst i've seen are the ones aimed at businesses, what they do is hack business email accounts and send out purchase orders, the only thing that tips you to it being phoney is the delivery addresses or when they ask to change delivery addresses at the last minute, the company i work for do a load of AV work for universities and the NHS we must have had about 10 or 15 phoney PO's this year from public sector, which are easy to spot, it's the ones from the corporate world that are harder we almost got stung for £20k or large format displays, distribution amps and control equipment, we had it all in the warehouse ready to go, then the delivery address changed which made us think, then we decided to give this companies HQ a call and it became clear they had been hacked.
Be careful out there people...

Did you see the letter that was on Barclays heading paper , telling the 'customer' to return his/her credit card to Moulten Keynes (yes Moulten ) because there was a bad batch of chips which could burst into flame in your wallet /pants and burn you horribly ?

I had the same but didn't tell I was running Linux for quite a while. I asked him what version I was using and guess what ... he couldn't tell me.

My son gets those... ive had it now and then too. he kinda confuses the *--* out of them when he tells them truthfully he doesnt have a computer.... then when they are trying to fumble about he also adds he doesnt have the internet either....and he doesnt

Confusing them is definitely the most entertaining option.
I like to put them on the back foot right from the opening sentence.
I ask them in an enthusiastic voice...”Oh....are you phoning about the Dragons?.....”
Usually followed by a pregnant pause, then a phone hangup at their end. [emoji23]

Next time I get a dodgy phone call, I think I may say 'you are speaking to the national crime agency fraud division' and see what the response may be.

My next nuisance call will go something like this:

Hello can I speak to Mr. Stephen Callaghan?
Mr. Callaghan is asleep right now, I'm his carer. Can I help you?

Look, I'm not waking him up, it's taken me an hour to get him down.
My last one, where I tell the caller that Mr. Callaghan recently died, and I'm a family member worked well, but I've been told to stop it as I'm tempting providence or something.

A relative of mine with (undiagnosed) dementia lost her entire life savings before her grown-up children could step in and set up power of attorney.
The Police said the lowlife twats would probably have come back at some point to take her house as well :steam:

Lots of good people are dead while these scumbags get to breathe their air. And it winds me up just thinking about them. May seem a bit harsh, but I want to inflict severe physical pain on these lowlifes.

I worked with a guy who had a lodger. One day the Lodger answered the phone to a sales call and when the guy on the other end asked to speak to my colleague his lodger screamed hysterically

Yes they may as well be bursting through the door with shotguns because its a totally evil way of ruining people. What really saddens me when I tell these scum to F off is that I know they will have picked on the percentage of people who are vunerable.
Words arent enough when I say they have to improve the online crime units. Locking them up and chucking the key is too good for these evil lowlifes.
