Yes, like a first name and a system list would be useful!

However, welcome to AOS :)

Marco.

How do you know the shores of Brunei are distant - we may all live round the corner from you! Well, most of don't of course, so welcome to this far flung part of the internet!

Look forward to a bit of meat on the bones of your two opening posts!

... for my poor semblance of a proper introduction

I just dove head-first, scouring the forum for information, without observing the proper new member etiquette; it was only very much later that I realised my error that I belatedly decided to check back to see if anyone noticed my clumsy entry into the forum

To make poor amends, may I humbly direct those involved to the following thread :)

Regards,

Malek

p.s. I put "distant shores" as through my perspective, this forum's based in the UK; or am I in error yet again?

Thanks for the welcome John,

My musical tastes are wide and varied... Anything from Trip-Hop to Classical to South American Native Indian Tribal Shamanic Music...

As such, I've yet to own a system that does not dictate what I listen to; hence, the current bout of "upgraditis". Ideally, I would eventually reach the end of my Hi-Fi Journey (until the system croaks anyway) and then truly begin my Musical Journey...

A name would be nice Thank you

My apologies John... I incorrectly assumed that the earlier posts mentioning my name on this thread would be obvious to all...

And to rectify that, please do call me Malek ;)

No worries John... happens to everybody; as much as we want to be constantly in a state of awareness, we somehow always miss things one way or another :-)
