Does anyone have some rubber suitable for the vta adjust arm as seen here https://goo.gl/images/Z1oiMK

Mine is a bit perished so i need some suitable rubber to cut and stick in place for finger grip when adjusting.
Cheers

Bicycle inner tube repair patches, the repair kit comes with different sizes, I sure you could cut one to suit.

Is the 'grip' provided by a textured rubber cover, or is the metal part knurled? It's not clear from the photo

Hi Robert

Try a fishing tackle shop, it looks very much like the kind of rubber or silicon tubing they use for rigging up pop up boilies

Regards Steve...

The rubber you see wraps / sits on the metal, in a smooth space channel about 1mm deep.
The rubber also has grooves horizontal to the vta adjuster. You can just about make them out if you have a screen that enlarges like a phone screen.

That's what I thought. Do you know the diameter of the channel? Some three-core mains cable have a textured rubber outer cladding. Perhaps a portion of this could be used.

It would be more accurate if my wife measured it.
