View Full Version : YAMAHA CA-1010 class A integrated amplifier
This is in unbelievably good condition considering it’s age .
It has its original box and packaging.
Professionally serviced and upgraded speaker terminals fitted at the same time.
£650 firm .
I bought this to go with my Yamaha ns1000m’s but I prefer my marantz hence the sale .

Wow! What a beautiful bit of kit. I loved the old Yamaha’s but could never afford one back in the day. Good luck with your sale.

Lovely amp. I have the CR-2020 receiver that is from the same series, looks very similar and shares features with the CA-1010. Best of luck with the sale, someone is going to get a very nice amp that unlike some of the more modern stuff, will keep its value. And it's got wood!

Wattage wise, the 1010 amp is specced at 90/8, and the 2020 receiver at 105/8. The 1010's distortion figure is .02 and the 2020 is .1 in stereo at 1khz. Weightwise, 19kg for 1010 and 19.3 for the 2020. I wouldn't like to carry either very far. It's all that iron in there, proper transformer power supplies, not SMPS like it is these days.

Is it also class A Steve? I don’t see the magic button.
I see there is also a 3020 ! Flipping eck

If you go to hifi engine (forum), you can sign up for free and view details and specs of virtually any vintage hifi component. For most of them there's also free service data and user manuals, all the specs you need. In fact I don't think you have to sign up just to view the basic specs, but you can't see or download the actual company service data, user manuals and brochures unless you sign up for free.
You mention the box. Is shipping an option (i accept it won't be cheap!)
Also could you confirm the depth of the amp?
