Came across this 150 watt pc amp reading Hifi World on hols.
From what ive read online this amp looks genuinely high end representing what we endorse here on AOS which is big bang for buck, value - giant killers.

The 236 before it also received great reviews.

If my Sansui ever died I'd look into this recent 237.
Anybody have experience?

It's one of those brands which has never been properly distributed in the UK. Which is why you don't see much of it.

Vincent is the western world name for the Chinese firm Shengya, and your probably expecting me to now rubbish it.
No way, I've used a Shengya preamp for years, it sounds superb, is built like a tank and only needed the stock Shuagang tubes changed to Psvanes. Highly recommended.

I use a Vincent Phono stage and it's a cracking piece of kit.

From what i read Vincent is a sleeper. There seems to be a lot of audiophiles who have had other gear and singing the praises of amps like this Vincent hybrid.

Mark Sears is the go to guy for Vincent in the UK. The Missing Link in Nottingham. I would like a listen to one myself.

Me too Steve,
A lot of nice powerful amp for well under £2k new.
Only read good things about it and the 236 before.
Hi-fi World will be reviewing it next-October Issue, on sale August 31st ;)

To update ...

Hi-Fi World gave it 5 out 5 (Outstanding - amongst the best)

VERDICT
A gorgeously rich and spacious amplifier that made listening to music a rewarding experience

FOR
- spacious, organic sound
- powerful expressive bass
- build quality and finish

AGAINST
- mediocre digital sound
- indeterminate push button action
- long start up delay

Hi
I've listened to 4 if their product and always found them to be very good indeed
I was going to get their valve phonostage but was a little strapped for cash after buying my Firebottle monos then building the dcb1 turbo

I may well end up with the vincent phono stage

It did really well at the bakeoff.
