As above,
Selling as now surplus to requirement with my Oppo connecting to Dac via i2s, thought I'd pass it on here.

Spent a long time trying out digital cables and what the best connection from my Transporter to Dac would be, turned out in that case its a salty priced XLR cable but tried a lot of RCA coaxial digital cables in the process and this thing was by far the best of those I've tried.
Been running great between my Oppo 203 and Dac, just recently ousted by fitting an i2s output board to my Oppo, and my Dac has i2s as its best sounding input so digital coax cable is now spare.

Its a BNC to BNC cable, comes with phono adapters designed by the guru behind the cable, Chris Sommovigo...rock solid 75 Ohm impedance.

One of those 'last cables you'll buy' kind of deals..its really good.
If I hadn't been able to mod my Oppo to output i2s to my Dac (its best input apparently) I'd have stuck with this, it really does sound superb, best RCA I've heard by miles.

I am also using the Black Cat Silverstar cable and it is definitely "the last digi cable I'm buying" it's that good

Bargain at the asking price and they never come up for sale as most people don't know about them ;)

I would like to buy this, but a guy close to me in Northumberland is selling one on gumtree for £60!!!!!
I'm not on gumtree so can't contact him.

Tony at Coherent Systems has it at the moment.
Looking at upgrading the clock, after the other mods.

He is getting more and more people ask about clock upgrades for the SEG, so is designing a custom clock module for the SEG; it has a more manageable footprint and with the ultra regulated supply he says it works rather well.

The reason I went for the SEG is because of how Stan's Bushmaster II presented music.
Smooth, natural, good instrument separation with an ability to show the spaces between the music.

Pretty sure we have maxed out the SEG today via another customer project, and it is sounding very nice even with stock leads and £30 I/C's.
Give it the full loom and power treatment and I would say it is now around a £3K dac performance (with a good source).
