I am selling my Quad ESLs which I have owned since 2005. I have moved house and cannot find the space to position them correctly. They are in excellent condition in all respects - cosmetically and electrically - and of course they sound wonderful. They were serviced/overhauled by One Thing Audio in March 2010, and at that time they replaced two treble panels and two EHT boards, together with some audio transformer components. Bass panels, wiring and the rest all measured to spec and were left as-is. At the same time the speaker frames were disassembled, cleaned, repainted and the side-pieces re-polished. They look beautiful. Since then they have had only light use in a second system.

They utilise the original Bulgin plugs for the power leads - all of which is included in the sale - and they currently stand on One Thing "Rupert" stands, though I have all the original feet and they are also included in the sale. Original Owner's Manual is included in the sale. £795 Collection only from Shrewsbury.

Hello
I am interested in these ESL 57's.
Can you confirm if the Exchanged Treble Panels were 'Refurbished Originals' or 'OTEC Panels'.

I am very greatful to the vendor of these ESL 57's for all of his patience and support, offering valuable information in helping me with my inquiries and investigation.
These are great speakers and refurbished to a very high degree, at the asking price, including the stands, there is a great bargain of a purchase to be had.

They were replaced with rebuilt original Quad panels. JohnG was looking for a pair with OTECs, to match with a pair he already owns. That is why mine were not suitable for his needs.
