FS WAD 300b with mods

I have for sale a pair of Magneplanar SMGCs, one of the most musical of all Maggies. These have been heavily modified by me (and a joiner) along lines suggested by Peter Gunn in the US. See the Maggie Users' website here: http://www.integracoustics.com/MUG/MUG/

These speakers have solid wood frames, the fuse has been removed and a high quality external cross-over has been built using very high quality components, including Mills resistors, Obbligato capacitors and Alpha-core copper foil inductors. The modifications alone cost c.£450 (£300 to the joiner, c.£150 on components)

Sounds is fabulous and highly listenable. Willing to demonstrate in N London. Collection only, or I will deliver (within a reasonable distance)
