Arkless 651p phono amp

Hi, I’m looking for one of Jezs640p/651p phono amps to loan.Some time ago I bought a Cambridge 651p with a view to using it as a donor unit for one of Jezs upgrades...I hope I’m not breaking any rules by mentioning Jez.. I do so only in the context of identifying the required phono amp..... I’ve been using the 651p and would love to do a back to back comparison.I never got the chance to benefit from a loan unit when it was doing the rounds.Im happy to pay postage both ways or collect anywhere in London.If there’s a possibility of a sale please pm me .I can always move my 651p on.

Hi Marco...tried that..actually PM’d Jez himself about the loan scheme but he’s no longer doing it.
Since his Arkless 640p came out there have been a few gems
discovered by forum users and I’m loathe to buy blind.. plus just because something
works in somebody else’s system doesn’t mean it will work in mine .I guess I’m just going to have
to bite the bullet.

Hi guys... picked up an Arkless 640p unit from Stidge (STEVE) on loan with an option to buy and after a weeks auditioning decided to keep it.All credit to Steve for making the transaction so smooth and seamless..Credit to Jez for creating a little budget marvel... pity his people skills aren’t on par with his technical skills but let’s not dally on that.Back to his 640p.It has lifted my vinyl enjoyment to another
level...everything is improved...detail is there in abundance,coupled with a stereo separation I hadn’t
noticed it’s ommision...and an increase in the bass.All in all I’m happy.. very happy...for the time being.
