My new to me Super-capped Caiman SEG (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?59050-FS-Beresford-Caiman-SEG-(Super-Cap-and-Headphone-amp-upgrades)&highlight=CAIMAN) (with Capella chip) seems to have a problem with the coax input. I just get distortion, and the LED flickers. It's unusable.
As part of my troubleshooting, I plugged my CAIMAN II back in, and everything works well, so it seems related to the DAC.
I have tried resetting the firmware as per the instructions, but there is no change.
Is there anything else I can do?
