Does anyone recognise the brand of these speaker stands?

They are the best I’ve seen , the ad I responded to didn’t mention the makers name and I didn’t think to ask.

I have now put the Yamaha’s on these and boy has the sound improved, I’m sure most will think to do so is wrong as they’re too high but I will disagree big time , it works .https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/548f21ba2429cea80f2a0dd1c1c5986b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/50e0959ca7de5c456b1c2625c11f1df2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/e55ff29dbe4aeb434d60fefdd6d64fab.jpg

Looks good.

Are these the very same stands that are being advertised on Gumtree in Walton-on-Thames? The stickers look the same.

Yes they are the same ones though I think the seller must have edited the ad after I responded as it didn’t mention the makers name .

Thanks Andy. I was mulling over a trip to Walton-on-Thames to pick them up. You saved me the time.

Thanks Martin, it’s my pride and joy outside of Hifi ( sad I know ) it takes 4 men to lift it !!

I almost didn’t go to be honest but really pleased I did , and for the first time ever I can say that the M25 was a pleasure

Those stands look very similar to my old stands I ran for 40+ years.
NS1000M look to be in very nice shape!
Interesting to me that you chose to put your system in a corner with speakers so close to the walls.

Hi Mark , I have no choice in locating the system unfortunately and it really does bug me though if I’m going to have a serious listening session then I do place the speakers more into the room ( when the wife’s not home )

Yes the M25 can be ok - if you time it right. I often have to travel to Guildford and the M25 normally doubles up as a car park.

Is the skin under the table act as a bass trap and what does the owner (who I assume is on the wall) say about it all? :eyebrows:

The skin is a permanent fixture now as I’m not a strong as I used to be so it stays under the coffee table [emoji1303]

May I ask if the image well in that position? I recently lowered my NS1000M to 10¼" with a LOT of rake (2¼") imaging is amazing now, but my space is 19' and very open around the stereo. pic is from my listening chair.

Yeah I see yours are situated spot on.
Mine were on stands of 10” now they’re at 15” which I so far prefer.
Last week I had my radford Auditoriums on the same 10” stands and in the same location and they sounded fantastic, in fact much better than the yams but in my opinion they look old and dated ( and bloody ugly without their grills) whereas the yams are simply so cool .

If the Radfords sounded better than your Yamaha’s something is seriously wrong.

The radfords sound seriously good and yes I think they have the edge over the yams . Of course I could be wrong and I wouldn’t consider myself a Hifi expert by any means but having said that I think my Kef 105/4’s sounded better too which why I sold my first pair of yams .

Well they’re going back on the 10” stands as they just don’t look right.

I have some foundation audio stands with the F logo that came with the Conistons...£25 all in which was a real bargain buy.

I want some gold headed caps on the spikes like those and its given me an idea to have more adjustment from the top.

Nice well made heavy stands...the secret is in the filling :)

Wow that was a deal , I hadn’t even heard of CSF stands until the guys on here identified them but their quality was immediately apparent.

Yes they are very well made. Ive been happy enough with a solid feel and nice finish

Im not sure if they are the be all and end all with central columns as I would prefer four at the corners. I would prefer the Royd (Linn kan style) stands but Ive never done any real sound comparison tests with stands to be honest

I also have some Target ones where I can fill the one oblong strut with sand or shot.

I do feel there is some hype with stands and you probably dont hear much difference unless spending on the Partingtons or something like that.

The Foundations are nice heavy, purposeful stands though

I had some partington dreadnoughts for my Dali icon 3’s, wished I never sold them .
