Hi Guys

This may seem strange, but with the blessing of the forums admin, I have decided to open a new account for Adventures in High Fidelity Audio. This is so I can keep my original membership as Dalek Supreme D L and my official management related duties separate from my on-line magazine. This new account is a normal one, with no additional abilities.

This will allow me to, post new articles update info and answer questions and comments relating to the magazine in the trade section of the forum...where it belongs. It is my hope that this will be acceptable to the membership. You can also leave comments on the site as well.

So once again Hello.

What I have been linking you guys to recently has been a test site, this will be updated soon. The new site will have a whole new look and functionality + other upcoming additions.

The hard launch will be soon, starting with The recent London Hi-Fi show report. Fear not though, there will still be items unique to AOS too, including items of particular interest to the AOS membership. Hi Dave Cawley this means you.

Regards Neil

Sorry Neil - couldn't resist!
Welcome to your new alter alter ego - 21st Century Schizoid Dalek?

Have you got some weather this morning?

Edit: Ha, I just realised that a Dalek with 2 alter egos would be a 21st Century Schizoid Can

Yes last night was pretty awful. Lights flickering every few seconds with strong wind and lots of rain; it was a very bad night.

I switched all my gear off rather than risk any damage. Earlier in the night one of my tuners went off despite the power button being engaged  I was able to reboot it, by switching it off then on again. It was at that point I decided to turn everything off to be safe. We didn't loose power here in Belfast, but many elsewhere have + very deep snow drifts. No snow where I live.

This isn't the sites official avatar. I have borrowed it until that is up and running, along with the new templates etc. However its not a million miles removed from the 1930's look I am after. I have been told by my fabulous Webmaster that the vibe of that image is in the general ball park of the new magazine look.

Hi Neil, Had a look at you sight just now, I've not been around much so only just found out about your new sight. Great stuff on there, I'm particularly looking forward to music reviews. I struggle to find anything decent to buy these days although I'm sure its out there lurking, somewhere...............

Hi Neil, Chris TGW beat me to the joke (and did it better than I would have done anyway) but not really fair to pick on a guy with man-flu, is it? All the best with the new venture, looking forward to more of the same - good luck.
