God...I remember a time before "Vintage" took off when secondhand shops/skips were piled high with this stuff.
I'd take a punt if that price stayed low but like many here the "untested" bit rings alarm bells.
How difficult can it be?

One more thing, the old kit perve in me would love the smell inside those cabs...

I'm not strange.....honest.

Haha! A Pavlovian response to old gear! Sounds legit? I know what you mean, a certain excitement associated the smell of exploring old cabinets.

As long as you don’t get a stiffy, I don’t guess you’re weird? Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

I used to have a pair of these Universisty Diffaxial 312 speakers, made by Altec. They were tri-axial drivers, sounded very good!
