FS. Adam Audio Artist 5 active speakers

I'm sure I'll regret this but I've come to the decision to let these lovely Adam Audio active speakers go. I had been meaning to put them into the second room in the new house but decided against having two rooms of music in the end. Also partly motivated by the prospect of using the funds to improve the amplifier in my set up. I've had these from new. Extremely versatile speakers, quite neutral but with a depth that belies their relatively smallish size. Really nice looking too in piano black. There is a very small nick in one of the foam donuts where my cat had fun one night and scratch on the underside where I knocked it (but caught it in time) however couldn't stop the top of the stand scratching the underside. Otherwise in great nick. Comes with original packing, boxes and manuals. Soundstyle stands will be included if required. I'd like £375 or would consider swopsies for an interesting amplifier. Can deliver in the south east and can demo at home or your place if you live fairly local

I've been reading some of the reviews of this. I'm impressed. And I'm sure that the quality is up to the standards that Adam-Audio is known for in the Pro world.

I wish I had a use for these speakers but sadly I don't.

Do you also have the desk stands that these amps seem to come with? The ones that tilt the speakers up a bit so optimising them for desktop use. Judging from the reviews these speakers make excellent computer desktop monitors as well as stand-mounts.

I dont have the stands for these. I cant help thinking that they would be wasted in a desktop set up. Very impressive sounding speakers. Adam seem to have all but given up producing home speakers. A pity as the high end stuff is something else by all accounts. Also way out of my price range unless I win the lottery! Anyway still up for grabs folks before I change my mind.

I kept hold of these but really need to move them on now. Not getting used much at all so going to give one more go on the trusty AoS before putting them up on EBay and the like. Open to reasonable offers.

Only took 7 months to sell these! Picked up this morning. Gave them a final session last night. Really enjoyable. I'll miss them.
