Linn Isobariks DMS in Black Ash with the Linn Isobarik boxes they arrived in.

Excellent condition cabinets and drivers. Grilles show their age well.
Owned from new by me and looked after very well. No children around.

Included are the original stands, with original plastic feet as well as the metal feet subsequently supplied by Linn. Serial numbers 3243 / 3244. Grilles are fair. Can be left off or purchased new on Ebay for £60.

Happy to let you see and hear how good they are in North West Surrey.
Can ship in UK or overseas in the original Isobarik boxes.

£760

Should be able to find the invoice for them

Also available, listed separately :
NACA4 11.5 metre speaker cable pair which came with original installation. Naim plugs one end. New XLR plugs available to be fitted
NACA5 18 metre cable pair that I had made after I moved. Naim plugs one end Professionally terminated XLR other end.
Linn 7 metre pair banana to XLR. Very thick

Converter to take banana or similar to XLR for Isobariks

Mark 2 stands

The stereo image *is* detailed with a good system driving them.
Bass response is wonderful as on all Isobariks with 2 bass drivers in each speaker.
2 tweeters and 2 mid range as well making 6 drivers per speaker.
They work best against a wall and I have had them working well in a small room.

Originally bought from Grahams with LP12, Naim 32 and HiCap, Naim 250.
Upgraded to 32.5, 135s then Naim 82 with two HiCaps and 500.
Pass Labs XP-20 Pre Amp and Chord SPM1200E Power Amp sound even better.
Every upgrade heard clearly on the speakers as were interconnect and mains upgrades.

HI Mike

It mentions a high demand on amplification ? what do you use and how much power would be needed to drive the 12 speakers ?

Thanks

If I recall, a Naim NAP250 was often used with them.

Hi Al

I started with a Naim 250 which was fine. Upgraded to 135 Monos which was a reasonable step up, a Naim 500 a small step up, Chord SPM1200E a step up on the 500 for less than half the money.
A Chord CPM 2600 integrated is good with them too. Marginally better than 135s I thought

Have used a Nait 3 integrated temporarily which was ok at low volumes but soon ran out of steam
