Does anyone know if there is an issue with Redhill Audio in Humber Bank South, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, DN31 3SD? I've been trying to contact Lee for the last few weeks (e-mail and phone) but with no success. Does anyone know if everything is okay? Is there anybody from around that area that could check?
Cheers.

Hi Joe. Yes Joe. Early this year I sent Meridian transport and dac for updates and repair, Im in Belfast so I was frustrating contacting him. Email and phone calls where seldom answered. Eventually talking to him he said to employ some one to answer phone and email would put his prices up.I think it took 3 months for all to be done. His updates are very good and repairs are good I cant fault his work. contacting him a nightmare.

Thanks for the reply normmc. Last year I had him refurb and upgrade my 20 year old Audiolab amp. No issues and lovely work. Then this year I picked up a second Audiolab amp cheap and sent it over 3 months ago and have not been able to contact him since. I'm not in a rush but I was starting to wonder if something happened or closed up shop or whatever. Okay I'll sit pretty for another while. Cheers!
Sent my Quad 33 & 405 for upgrade at the beginning of August and was quoted 3 to 4 weeks. Having read this thread I guess I will just have to be patient and wait a little longer. By all accounts Lee’s work is first class so I’m looking forward to hearing the results.
I had some of my audio equipment serviced by the chap called Lee, even had good face to face communications many times at my home when he collected or returned audio gear before/after service and work was good so no real issue there. However approximately 2 years ago he collected a car load of stereo receiver, Quad tuners, Meridiam M3 speakers and lots more but he refuses to return the items even after sending me emails nearly a year ago or so that he was returning smaller items by courier and larger ones by car.
Even now he is not responding to telephone calls etc and I may be looking to take legal action now, in the past he was not easy to make contact with and rarely responded but this is a whole new level!

Gives me the pip when people running a business to make money can't answer the phone or at the very least reply to messages. I wouldn't deal with them. Don't bother trying to defend them I'm not interested in how good they are at their job if they can't be bothered to communicate
