Has anyone got one of these or can you identify it so that I can find another or indeed a pair .https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180607/bfcfb9e7f89de88468073f0ebbd3d8fa.heichttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180607/bfc6c9cc6c9604ba4acfaa0c80e98ea9.heichttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180607/756afe7994d3b5a4c49c9d67d0ae1005.heic

You can use the Audax I think. The peerless ones were (I think) original fitment on some of the IMF transmission line models

Equivalent Peerless models are listed here:

Watch out, there are some 4 Ohm ones about.

One can use the Audax as a replacement, but they don't sound quite the same. I seem to remember that the Peerless is a bit sweeter at the top end, but the Audax can go a bit lower.

The leads that you can see going to the dome are very delicate, sometimes there is a break in them, if so if there might be a chance of repair.

Hi Alex , I can’t get to them unless I either scrap the black stuff off them or remove the dust cap plus I haven’t touch them at all

The one fully working radford sounds bloody lovely

I would not remove anything, not the "dust cap" or the four screws, if you loosen or remove them you will affect the alignment of the voice coil in the magnetic gap.

However, you can very carefully check for continuity by connecting a sharp pin to a multimeter probe and probing the very delicate wires for continuity. If a break is found, careful soldering may fix the problem.

Sorry I’m getting confused now ( nothing new ) I thought we were talking about my jbl woofers !
I will try the pin trick when I get home .
Cheers

You really need sharp pins, there is often clear silicone sealant over the thin wires.

Difficult to see the the right hand wire looks a bit dodgy, have a closer look.

Worth a try. I think those were a higher power rated version if I recall.

They are the KO10DT, if I recall were a little later and a bit cheaper. Probably be worth a try.

They should actually be mounted from the front.
