I need to get rid of some of the CD Players and Transports I have.
First up.
A lovely Audiolab 8000 CDM (i.e. transport only, no internal DAC). £225 + postage (UK sale only).
Optical, Coax and AES/EBU outputs.
Sounding great, warm, analytical and coherent. Obviously depends a great deal on what DAC you use. I've tried it on a Metrum Hex and a Perreaux DAC. All very engaging and musical.
This CDM has a Russ Andrews 'The Damper' attached to the top cover which is aimed to reduce resonance. Audiolab remote included. No original box or literature unfortunately. Some age related marks, nothing serious.
