You thinking of switching to idler over the belt drive? Paul I would never part with my Lp12 & had a Redbeard Garrard 401/PU7 before and regretted selling it... I like the idea of having a choice and as my Tron seven Ultimate has dual inputs MM or MC I want to fully utilise this...

Flexibility of cartridges, one reason I went for detachable headshell tonearms on the Garrard, with huge variation in LPs Stereo, Mono, Old & New I wanted to get the most out of the collection. One cartridge on the Aro just wasn't ticking all the boxes.
Although my LP12 wasn't keeled (kore) I don't regret moving on to the old Idler. Ideally I too would have kept both.
