My name is Pete ,aged 49 and i live in Stockport.
I've worked for the Manchester Airport Security section for 20 years.
My favourite musical genre is 70's and 80's rock and i am a big fan of
the guitar greats especially Blackmore,Santana,Trower, Iommi and Zappa.
I also enjoy "popular" classical ,some fusion and eighties pop/electronic music.
My system at the moment includes Arcam Alpha 9/9p amps, Arcam CD72,Ruark Icon speakers ,Project X pack and Technics 1210 mk 2

You need an AAA5 from Avondale Audio to go with the amps. I suspect it'll easily out-perform a CD72. Worth a punt I reckon - you can't give it all to the turntable you know..:)

A big fan of most of Zappa's stuff.Some of the earlier stuff such as "Lumpy Gravy" and some of the "backwards tape stuff" are hard work but "Burnt Weeny Sandwich" and "Hot Rats" are brilliant.The later Synclavier tunes are an acquired taste also.
Hard to choose a favourite album but would probably go for "One Size Fits All" or "Burnt Weeny"
