Hello, Marcus L here. I’ve got an LP12, Naim NAC82, NAP100, Epos ES22 system in sunny Hove where I spend weekends and a full 1990s active Naim system up in London (Rotherhithe) where I work with Klimax LP12 and CDS2 sources into SBLs.
Musically I’m pretty ecelectic. Jazz, rock, classical, choral, I’m not fussy! I prefer Records to CDs but have a large collection of both. I haven’t got into streaming yet but can see the advantages having just lugged seven big boxes of CDs and a similar number of records from one part of SE London to the other on the most humid day of the year. I like 1970s stuff mostly (Dylan, Joni Mitchell, John Martin, Leonard Cohen, JJ Cale) but also some 1980s stuff (early UB40, LKJ, late period Talk Talk etc)
I’ve also got a Rega 6, a Nait 2 and a pair of Kans (I know, too much stuff!) which I am going to enjoy listening to before I get the time to set up my active system again after moving. That job may take some time so I’m very grateful for more modest plug and play systems which means I can enjoy music immediately before levelling Fraim, working out how everything gets connected and waiting for the big system to settle in again...
