Goldring Lenco GL75 for sale

I have decided to sell my Goldring Lenco GL75 as I no longer have space for it unfortunately. It has been serviced and runs silent. It also has a mint new lid.

It is sold without a cartridge but I will include lots of spares, including tone arm bits and bobs, different weights and a spare headshell.

I am looking for £195 but delivery will be extra £25.

I do have mint M55e NOS cartridge and Jico SAS and NOS Shure N55 cartridge available which I could sell with this but that would be £150.

Very nice example of a GL75 James. That's how they should be kept, in top standard condition. Excellent turntable.

Who would believe that the T/T I had in '63 or '64, my first 'transcription turntable', would still be coveted today, over half a century later. The deck was fine, but the arm was a bit iffy, even then. The 88, I think it was, proved to be a better deck but I had a different arm on it (ADC wooden one ?)

Yes, I think you're right. It had a tapered wooden arm-tube. I think I might have got it from Lasky's when I worked there sometime in the later sixties. Memory's a bit hazy about that period, for obvious reasons............:) (Sorry, Jimbo).

A lovely clean example of this TT.
The arm will take extra mass at headshell and counterweight so can be used with medium compliance cartridges (as I do).

I have a spare extra mass counterweight of 141 grams that any prospective purchaser is welcome to.
