yup think great plains are connected to altec or at least deal with their stuff. dunno if they have a uk section... suppose it might be worth sending away, although its fair to say they may sound different to how they did

Something might turn up locally, I guess there are still companies like Lowther doing this. Does anyone know if the total driver is put through the process or do they need to be stripped to isolate the magnet?

Apparently, DC Boultons can do Tannoy AlNiCo's but I haven't had an update on whether it was successful or not.
