Looks like it covered in beer stains or coffee stains , Fag packets and lighters on show
Not much effort put into the listing :(

Have to admit the seller has not presented the tape machine in its best light, but it is not covered in beer or coffee stains, nor fag ash. I don't know what the 'shadow' is at the front right of the machine, but I'm sure it is just a photographic artefact and not where the paint has worn away.

Otherwise I would say the asking price is reasonable for recently serviced machine of that calibre.

(Can anyone identify the Nagra machine in the background, behind the Preco. Unfortunately it's out of focus, so difficult to see clearly.)

Nope. 'Clatty' is the word that springs to mind.

There are so many NO's in that picture the seller must surely be having a larf.

And who'd balance a coffee mug on top of a mixing desk? And put a glass of old engine oil on the item for sale?

Something weird about this. Budding Turner Prize entrant?
