View Full Version : EB Acoustics EB1
Please could someone give me advice on how much I should ask for these speakers? They are the original hand made by Richard Allen in near mint condition. Circa 2009/10.
They don't come up very often.
Kind Regards

£150-175 would be about right.
Have a look at HiFi Shark for past listings (https://www.hifishark.com/search?q=EB+Acoustics+EB1).
If in excellent condition (both visually and SQ) I'd suggest starting near the top - circa ~£400
Thank you to you both
Thats quite a big difference between 175 and 400.
I was thinking about £350
I think I might put them for sale on here.
Kind Regards

They were less than £500 new, so that is likely to be a bit on the high side. There's a pair on PFM at £195.
£150-175 would be about right.
Woo - I'd have them at £150! That is if I did not have so many speakers currently.
Wow, that seems very low for the quality of speaker. Is the one of the newer Arcaydis version or the limited Richard Allen hand made version?

This review appears to be of the originals.

They are brilliant speakers . I can't tell from the PFM ad which version they were.

Looks like they'll sell at £195. As a rule I usually pay 30-35% of new for my speakers, they seem to hold their value less than amps and other gear, probably because people chop and change them more often due to room reaction etc.

Many Thanks for all the help.
I have listed my speakers on a well known web site.
Please get in touch if you are interested

You might have done better offering them here. No listing fees, commission or Paypal fees.
Thanks .... I think I will then!
