For sale are my Rega RS3 loudspeakers in delightful cherry finish. Bought secondhand three years ago, they are three-way bass reflex, compact floorstanders - 797 x 224 x 246 mm / 31.38 x 8.82 x 9.69 in (HxWxD). Weight is 9 kg / 19.8 lb per speaker.
Despite their small footprint, RS3s have a big sound and can easily fill a small or even medium sized room. They come with front firing ports allowing them to be backed against the wall and side firing drivers which can be used firing in or out to suit taste and room requirement. These are exceptionally flexible speakers.
The RS3s have been lightly used and well looked after in a nonsmoking home. They are in excellent condition with just one fault, a ding on one of the corners which was there when I acquired them. This is not noticeable in everyday use.
They do not come with their original boxes so collection would be preferred. I live in West Yorkshire, near Huddersfield. However, I do have another loudspeaker box which could house them along with lots of packing. Shipping would cost in the region of £40-£45 I believe but that would have to be confirmed.
Reason for sale is an upgrade. The Regas served me very well until they were replaced by Shahinian Arcs, which are an improvement at vastly greater cost. The last retail price for RS3s was £778 and their direct replacement, RX3s, are £1298. All I am asking is £200. You will not find a better speaker for the money.
