As I’ve just got an L300 (the L10s bigger brother) this is now available for sale. Bought from Jerry last October it’s in very good condition and is an excellent sounding pre. The remote, which just controls volume, is a little reluctant at times. As I’ve had a ton of fun out of it how does £900 delivered sound? (Comes in all original substantial packaging). Thanks for looking. UK only sale please.

mmmmm I swithered about this when Jerry had it up for sale.

Anyone heard it against a Promitheus TVC ?

Too far away to demo so can only go on comments and reviews unfortunately

having had one of these and loads of tvcs i feel this will have a huge musicality that is hard to define , it just makes your feet want to tap . it may not be as ultra detailed as the tvc but by jingo its good . i had one after i sold my arc ref 5se and it did not dissapoint . i would not hang about as they are pretty rare and this is a good price . also guy is a great chap for support and still on some forums

Not heard a tvc but this is, without doubt, the best pre I’ve ever heard (apart from the L300 I’ve replaced it with of course).

yes they don`t come up as folks tend to keep them , its smaller and perhaps a bit easier to accommodate that the l300 which i heard when guy bought it up to coherants place in malvern to demo with some MONSTER focals . in those days i was a pre amp virgin and i remember thinking ....oh my gosh ... thats a big pre amp !!! where do people put them

Having only seen their rebranded Bewitch integrated amp I didn't realise they made more esoteric gear as well, she looks a beaut. GLWS.

I have the L10 and very nearly went to an L300 that was for sale secondhand recently. I’d be interested in how you find the two compare. I love the L10.

Probably not heaven and earth if I’m honest Richard, it was louder [emoji4]. Didn’t have too long to compare anyway as I replaced my power amps at more or less the same time.

That was my concern Roy that the difference may not have been immense. Which power amps you running?

The sound is a little more refined. JE Audio VM60 monoblocks.

Very nice! The Six Moons review of those amps used Boenicke speakers which is what I use (though a newer, smaller version)
