Rega TT power adaptor buzz?

Hi All
Just purchased a Rega RP2 the TT sounds great but the power adaptor plug has an annoying buzz which is quite loud & I have to unplug each time. I’m not sure whether this is a fault, or whether this buzz has developed or was there at the start?
This buzz is completely isolated to the adaptor as Iv plugged into a separate source disconnected from the TT
Has anyone with a Rega TT experienced this? Is there a fault with the adaptor? The adaptor looks pretty cheep so was wondering if there would be a better upgrade adaptor?

Is this a new turntable? If so, I'd ask for a replacement 'wall wart' power adaptor or send the whole thing back if that was not forthcoming. It shouldn't be noisy.

Thanks. didn’t think so, it is a new TT Iv emailed the shop whare I bought it. Is the ‘Wall Wart’ adaptor better?

No. It's what you've got. 'Wall Wart' is just the nickname these things have.

If you bought it from a Rega retailer, ask for a replacement wall wart, as they don't buzz.

Shop replaced no questions immediate post & no more buzz. Great service from PJ hi-fi Guildford.

I think I went through 2 or 3 before getting one that only buzzed a little. More or less everything buzzes in my house. The dealer was helpful throughout, have to say: I think they sent me an upgraded one in the end.

Although the last reply was a while ago thought I'd update this problematic Rega curse.

I finally rid myself of the Rega wallmart buzz this week by building myself a dual 24v AC PSU.

Oh the silence !!
