Hi a well respected member on the forum mentioned to me that your selling your lovely Sony amplifier he has been helping me set up a system for my specific needs as I have been going round in circles over the years and getting frustrated , if you read my welcome message on the forum I posted yesterday ,it will give you a slightly better understanding of my current position, presently my only option regarding offering you anything for you Sony amplifier is I have a pair of audiocrest nighthawk headphones with X2: balanced cables leather case and stand they are in immaculate condition and have been rarely used they were purchased February 2017, forgive my unusual request it's just your amplifier would be perfect and seeing you are a respected member on the forum it gives me more confidence purchasing something from you than elsewhere Kind regards Paul
(I'm rather useless using forums if I've made any mistake i do apologise)
thanks for the offer but i would prefer cash.

Not priced too high Jamie.
I've noticed cettain things that you'd expect to fly are not selling
Moneys always tight so maybe it's something to do with that.
Also feels a bit like people want good stuf for nothing at present.
My 752 Freedoms at £140 are a steal as far as I'm concerned and are in top order.
There's also a pair of Spendor D7's in Cherry been on the 'Bay for a while and wont shift at a bargain £2250 (£3995 new and one of the current range of Spendors)
They have best offer too so could possibly go for around £2K  Bet you wouldnt see that price if you really wanted some......
Be patient Jamie, it will sell :)

The only reason it isn't selling is it's collection only imo ...
Good point. Last 3 on the bay. One for collection only made significantly less. Patience will be needed unless you can arrange a AoS taxi

The new duty taxes are really starting to hit oversea sales on ebay - I paid 2.70 for a selector switch - import duty 26.00. Ouch

That's not possible - a mistake.
What do you mean new duty taxes anyway? Nothing has changed that I'm aware of.
going a bit off topic now... its a sale thread.
i dont mind delivering it dependant how far away you are from brighton.

If you're attending the bakeoff matey, you could leave the amp with me in the midlands which may help. Happy to help if I can.
I'm really surprised it hasn't sold. If it helps at all you can leave it with me if someone wants to collect it during the working week and happy to demo it for them too.
