Some of you will have seen the recent thread which I started, which sadly advised member/friends of the sad news that Bonneville/Vinny had passed away.

His family have asked if I could help in selling all of his Hi Fi kit, and I have agreed.

They have now sent a list of what they have, and here is that list.

Velleman 8020 valve control amplifier
Technics compact disc player model SL PS 620A
Ion systems X PAK 1/2.03
Ion system OBELISK 3X/2.03
Marantz model no PM -4 amplifier
Specialist bass unit audio electronics ltd speakers x2
QUAD ESL-63 electrostatic loudspeakers
FOSTEX model PM-1 speakers x2 plus metal stands
Exposure 2010- CD player

Im not familiar with most of this stuff, so am here now asking for help.

In particular approx values, but any other input would be most welcome.

I did hear the Marantz amp several times a few years ago, when Vinnie brought it to my house.
But the other kit I havent seen or heard yet, but hope to do so soon.

Vinny liked his kit to be "right", so Im pretty confident it will all be in good condition and working as it should.
Lets assume that is the case, for the moment.
I will test it all prior to agreeing any sale.

Any input would be much appreciated.

I will be linking the family to this thread.

Thanks

Good man for helping out in very unfortunate circumstances.
The guys here will give a fair price for any kit bought, which will of course go to help Vinnies family.

Best of luck with it all Brian.

Hi Brian,

The ebay advanced feature enables a completed listings search which would give market value of any specific item. Obviously condition is a significant factor and fees account for 13% of any given final auction value, but broadly speaking it's a good benchmark to start with. Of course, the usefulness of this depends of any recent sales of the kit as listed !

All the best with it, the PM4 is a very desirable amp I understand.

Edit, 2 x PM4 recently sold, £499 and £530. Sorry, no time for any more searches just now, cooking duties !
Couple of 2010 S2 listed, £255 and £410, latter ex-dem, former used.
Fostex PM1 (no stands) £116. Dinner not started, easily distracted ;-)
